Goethe Robotics Team Policy

1. Personal Information Collection

To participate in the Goethe Robotics Team, the following personal information will be collected and stored securely:

  • Full name

  • Grade and class

  • Phone number

  • Email address

This information is used solely for administrative purposes, including attendance tracking, communication, and team organization. It will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent. All data is handled in compliance with privacy standards.

2. Class Rules and Safety Guidelines

All robotics team sessions are held in Class 35, Third Floor, Colegiul German Goethe, every Wednesday at 12:00 PM. Students must follow these rules at all times:

  • Students may not use any equipment without the approval of a supervising assistant or the team president.

  • Use of the 3D printer is allowed only in the presence of a supervisor and the team president.

  • Physical aggression, harassment, or harmful behavior toward others is strictly prohibited.

  • Students must speak only when prompted during activities.

  • Drawers, lockers, and storage associated with the robotics team must not be opened or tampered with.

  • Students must handle all materials carefully, including 3D glasses, LiDAR scanners, robots, Arduino kits, and other equipment.

  • All materials must be returned at the end of each class.

  • Bullying, disruptive behavior, or any form of intimidation is strictly forbidden.

  • Students are expected to follow all instructions provided by the team staff and respect the classroom environment.

3. Materials and Resources

  • After preselections, any materials required to participate in the robotics team will be posted in the courses on this website.

  • Students are responsible for checking the website regularly and following all instructions for using materials correctly.

  • Misuse of materials may result in restricted access to resources.

4. Compliance and Agreement

By participating in the Goethe Robotics Team, students and their parents/guardians agree to abide by this policy. Violations may result in:

  • Temporary or permanent suspension from team activities

  • Restricted access to equipment and resources

  • Additional disciplinary action as deemed necessary by team staff
